TrueLayer (Open Banking)

Direct bank connections via Open Banking (TrueLayer) are planned for the Blaze plan. They are not yet available on Ember — today, the way to get bank data in is CSV statement import.

Coming to the Blaze plan

When live, bank connections will be consent-based and read-only: you approve access to balances and account information at your bank (no payment initiation), and Ember refreshes balances automatically. Open Banking consents expire, so connections need re-authorising roughly every 90 days.

What works today — CSV statement import

Download a CSV statement from your online banking, then go to Cash Flow → Import bank statement. Upload the file, let Ember auto-categorise the transactions, review, and save. Account balances themselves can be tracked as cash assets — added on the Assets page or bulk-loaded via CSV import.
