Binance
Ember reads your Binance total portfolio value using a read-only API key. No trading or withdrawal permissions are granted.
Binance sync needs the Ember plan or above — up to 3 live broker/crypto connections; Blaze is uncapped.
1
Create a read-only API key
- Log in to Binance and go to Profile icon → API Management.
- Click Create API. Choose System generated. Label it
Ember. - Complete any 2FA verification Binance requires.
- On the permissions screen, ensure Read Only (Enable Reading) is checked and everything else is unchecked.
- Leave IP access restriction as Unrestricted — Ember's sync runs from Ember's servers and a fixed egress IP is not published.
- Copy both the API Key and Secret Key. The Secret Key is shown only once.
2
Add the connection in Ember
- Go to Settings → Integrations and click Add connection.
- Select Binance.
- Paste the API Key and Secret Key, then give the connection a label.
- Link it to an asset in your Ember portfolio.
3
Test the connection
Click Sync now. Ember fetches your Spot wallet, Simple Earn (flexible & locked) and Funding wallet balances, prices them from Binance's own market data, and updates the linked asset.
