Spark is capped per entity type rather than by a time limit or a locked feature — you can hold a real, if modest, balance sheet for free. The cap only ever blocks adding a new row past the limit; it never touches data you've already entered, so dropping back to Spark never deletes anything. Ember and Blaze are uncapped.

Every new account gets a 72-hour boost to full Ember-level access — every feature except report downloads and Google Sheets export, which stay gated to a real paid tier so the boost can't be used to churn through exports. When the boost ends, a plan-choice screen asks you to pick Spark, Ember, or Blaze; your account never locks, and if you do nothing it simply settles onto the free Spark plan. During the boost you also get a small taste of hosted AI — enough to try chat and insights, well short of a full paid allowance (see AI features).

Ember and Blaze can be billed monthly or annually. Annual billing is 15% cheaper than paying monthly for a year — Ember works out at $152.90/yr and Blaze at $305.90/yr, billed once a year instead of $14.99/mo / $29.99/mo each month. You can switch cadence, upgrade, downgrade, or cancel at any time from Settings → Account, where the exact prorated amount is always shown before you confirm anything.

Promotional codes may be available from time to time — any code you have is applied at checkout and the discount it gives is shown before you pay.
