Cookie Policy

Last updated: 14 July 2026

Essential cookies (always on)

These are required for the service to function and need no consent:

  • Session cookie — keeps you signed in (a signed, revocable token; no tracking).
  • Sign-in flow cookies — short-lived CSRF and two-factor-step cookies used only during login.
  • ember_ref — set only when you open a referral link; remembers who referred you for 30 days so we can credit them; first-party, not used for tracking.

What we don’t use

  • No third-party tracking cookies.
  • No social-media pixels.
  • No selling of personal data, ever (see the Privacy Policy).

Analytics cookie (with consent)

  • em_consent — remembers your analytics-cookie choice (necessary; set however you choose).
  • em_va — set only if you accept: a random id that lets us recognise returning visitors for first-party, privacy-friendly analytics. No third party, no advertising, ~12 months.

We also count anonymous page views with no cookie and no personal data retained. You can accept, reject or change your analytics choice at any time via the consent banner.

Managing cookies

Browsers let you block or delete cookies entirely; blocking the essential ones will stop sign-in from working. You can accept, reject or change your analytics choice at any time via the cookie consent banner, or the “Cookie settings” link in the footer.
